The producers did manage to epically pussify jon snow. So that had to add to your enjoyment.

I gave it a 5, probably one of my least favorite episodes. Tyrion/Cersei is getting old. Everyone is so nonchalant for Stannis' arrival. I didn't like that Tywin singled out his cupbearer in front of his generals, c'mon she's a freakin servant. Catelyn letting Jamie go without at least some recognition of the vows she made him say BEFORE she heard about Bran and Rickon is just too much. The lack of airtime to display the importance of the direwolves is astounding. Why even show them at all? Where is Grey wind, where the $(#^U&P%$!!! is Ghost?

haha, they are definitely getting the EMO vibe across for Jon Snow. They made him beg the Halfhand to go along and then he goes from blunder to blunder after they left the Fist. The producers couldn't even give him the one kill he got on the watchers before he captured Ygritte, poor Snow. Loses his team, loses his prisoner, gets suckered into a trap, gets made a prisoner by his former prisoner, all the while getting dressed down like a proper virgin in every conversation with Ygritte.

What a chump.......he should be Sam's steward. When Ygritte says she'd be the one to cut his balls off if he ran, I almost peed myself laughing at Snow's character. Craster's keep was bad enough

I agree with this, easily the best eposide. Winterfell was damn good as well. I think they are doong the best jobs editing the stories in harranhal and winterfell. The scenes north of the wall are amazeballs. It looks as cold and inhospitable as i imagined it. The costumes in qarth are excellent. Cleftjaw wasnt right but thats nitpickey. That plus no Dany exposure of the breast take it down to 9.

In CoK he tells them they can stay for one night on their way from the beginning if I'm not mistaken. In SoS, he kicks them out on the way back after they are massacred by the others and Sam kills the WW,

Completely agree, book Renly is a confident, almost arrogant man that definitely shows attraction to women and some straight tendencies. This is a case of shock value for the HBO series- just like the Ros scenes. Both are equally inaccurate and corny IMO.
