• Jaime's a bitch on the show, as of now. Utterly passive and still completely obsessed with Cersei it seems. Apparently doesn't even hold his Kingsguard position in much esteem. When do we get the Jaime that starts to become his own man and actually forge his own path?

I love the show, but I have to agree with this. Somehow, the showrunners don't seem very clear on what to do with him. His redemption arc has never really taken off, but nothing has replaced it. He just... exists. Perhaps his travels in Dorne will wake him up.

In episode 2, Roose mentioned sending him there to deal with Jon.

Actually, to deal with Bran or Rickon getting to Jon, I think to recall. Bolton gives two shits about Jon.

Why wouldn't they spoil stuff? It's a show; it's meant to spoil stuff. Just as books are meant to "spoil" stuff. What does "spoil" mean anyway, to you? Is it when stuff take place?

Deviating from the books in that Sansa is much more vocal and definite in her distrust of Littlefinger.

When you can't pry into the mind of your characters, they need to get more vocal. Basic stuff.

My husband is unsullied, but the placement of the cup in front of the QoT for so long tipped him off. "Well, clearly she had SOMETHING to do with it."

Actually, Stannis' scene was from Episode 1 and got moved, so it wasn't written by GRRM. Not that I think it matters, though.

I'm a big fan of what the creators have done with the show, but I think they kinda screwed up by not mentioning Oberyn's pseudonym so far. Most of my Unsullied friends think of Oberyn as a brute stabby-maniac now, and none even considered it as a posibility for Joff's killer.

Mace's portrayal was also lacking, I thought. Even Dontos had more composure than him.

Great episode, though. Loved the Ned visions.

I am really curious about what they are going to do with Jaime and Brienne next season.

I apologize if this has been brought up but I had to..So who was the guy when Yara was walking (almost at end of that scene), the guy looked in his mid 40's, had dark black hair and a scar, he was looking at her strangely. He certainly looked like a Victorian to me.

It was just a hardened pirate that gave the shot more power. Casting is a big deal, no way they are casting Victarion this early only for that shot. Not every single thing is significant.

Why would Ramsay kill Bolton men? I would have thought that Ramsay sent those three men, or that he was one of them.

Bad guys kill their subordinates a lot in fiction. That's how they roll.

So I guess I am embarrassed because it never really occurred to me (until my reread of the Tyrion chapter in SoS) just what role Ros would actually play and now it seems so obvious to me... Say hello to the fake Arya Stark~!

This might be a joke I did not get, but anyway... How could that work? A tom boyish-y 12 year old brunette girl disappears for a year and suddenly she becomes a (at least) 20-something year old really hot redhead. If that were not enough, Ros actually comes from Winterfell.

I thought they dragged Rast back for that.Gorman is too big a name and too good an actor for a bit part like that.But,he's wandering around like he belongs and no one is questioning his presence,so yes it looks like he's the Craster killer,not Coldhands.

Odd,though.

This is really odd indeed. It's extremely weird that they would bring a relatively "big name" just to die the next episode. And I really don't see how they could expand this role. He'll probably kill Mormont, survive, and get his end later in the season somehow.
