I haven't had time to read through the entire thread, but did someone mention what was the significance of Dany dropping the ring? Was a special ring, one that the Dothraki might recognize?

5 out of 10 - it wasn't as good as Hardhome or as bad as some of the previous episodes this season. LIKES: The walk of Shame. Too bad it wasn't a few miles longer, Cersei might have actually learned something then. Sam and Gilly heading to Oldtown, although I would have sent them as soon as Aemon died. The reemergence of Theon Greyjoy. So glad that we got to see his redemption this season. Ser Davos' expression when the Red Woman rode into Castle Black. She must have a jetpack under that cloak. Arya giving Meryn Trant the "DO you know who I am" treatment. DISLIKES: Ramsey defeating Stannis. Stannis deserved better this season. The jump from the top of Winterfell. There did not seem to be enough snow to break their fall. "For the Watch" felt rushed and without the justification the brothers felt in the book. Dany pushing Drogon to fly her home. WTF Mom, he's just a baby dragon, wounded and tired. Give him a break! Dorne. Everything in Dorne. While this wasn't my favorite season or season finale, they tied up the currently open story lines nicely. I certainly hope we get more next year to even out their writing decisions this year.

Wow. That was really underwhelming. Hated the Stannis resolution. He deserved better. Hated the Dorne resolution. It was too contrived and expected. Hoteo beheading someone would have been better. Meereen, I mean, the 3 Amigos and their sidekicks are going to run the city? Here is Ser Barristan and how is this better? FTW. Not enough of a setup. Where was Ghost? What about Davos' ire at Mel when he discovers Shireen burned to send her father to death? We, viewing and reading populace deserved better with the material they had to work with.
