KingMaekarWasHere Posted July 16, 2014 Share Posted July 16, 2014 One king that a lot of people look over is King Aerys the First who was not mad like the 2nd, and in fact he was likely one of the wisest kings who was very well read. Egg said that he heard his uncle Aerys the First talk of the return of dragons and likely even prophecies and yet not much has been said of Aerys so far in the Dunk and Egg stories. So what if Aerys found a book amongst his many books, that he read over the years and that book revealed a secret truth about TPTWP and other prophecy? Where would such a book be? Would it be hidden somewhere in the Red Keep? Probably...but the royals that followed Aerys and his nephew Egg weren't too bright now were they? So what do you think?
