paarthurnax Posted June 2, 2015 Share Posted June 2, 2015 I'm thinking maybe not. I mean Roose understands the value of ruthlessness but Ramsay is basically insane and enjoys it too much. If the Boltons hold the North long term and eventually Ramsay took over I wouldn't be surprised if the other Northern Houses even House Boltons traditional bannermen eventually get pushed too far by fear and disgust of Ramsay's depravity that they rise up against House Bolton. Basically he would be a Northern version of the Mad King.I'm guessing that Roose is just using Ramsay as useful terror weapon right now but does not want him as the eventual Lord of House Bolton.
