HornblowerHar
So I was relistening to TWOIAF and I had a thought that maybe the Rhonish lore about the battle for the dawn is somewhat accurate. It is believed that a hero convinced the children of Mother Rhoyne to sing a song to drive away the darkness. If so maybe the Rhoynish water wizards used there magic to help the COTF create the wall. The Rhoynar fight like the free folk after a fashion "Women also served in their cities' armed forces and were said to fight as fiercely as the men." Shireen Purratheon
The children of Mother Rhoyne singing a song to drive away the darkness does sound a little bit like the children of the forest singing the song of the earth.
