The original wall

It seems to me that the Patrimony of Hyrkoon was the original "wall" that guarded the "realms of men" (from possibly the others)

- It guarded the realms of men from the threats to the west of them

- there's a proximity to Yi Ti, which would explain how the AA-myth came to be part of that culture as well

- Essos does not streach endlessly to the north, so the others had to come from Westeros (over the arm of Dorne)

- the Hyrkoonish culture seems to safeguard against men giving their seeds to any women by limiting the amount of men who are allowed to breed, they have a tighter control on dangerous things happening (a man giving his seed to an other-woman, which might have triggered the long night)

Am I onto something here?
