He spoke with me at length about how he got the job, what inspired his designs and a few things he designed that didn’t make it to air. One cool thing I learned was how he designed every single weapon on the show and even was the man who drafted up the look of the White Walkers. We hear so much from cast members about their work on the show, but I found it fascinating to hear from someone who worked creating the look and feel of the world we all fell in love with.
