Unknowns?[/quote] I think aspiring musician (former Nashville Star contestant) and successful (with [i][b]good [/b][/i]reason) model Justin Gaston would make a great Marillion. Given his looks, I'd even say he'd make a great Loras -- but you asked about bards. Aoede Posted January 18, 2009 Share Posted January 18, 2009 I think it may bear mentioning that singing styles may have been very different - think about the bard's roles: the "concert" role is easiest for us to imagine, but there's also performing to self-accompaniment in noisy, crowded venues where they're not the main focus (feasts and celebrations), and there's private performances for one or two (Lysa and Marillion). You're not going to be able to hire everyone with an IMDB page to fill in for some minor characters in a series as big as ASOIAF if you plan to stay on budget. Mance Rayder Marillion Tom O'Sevens The Blue Bard Err...Shae's boyfriend (name escapes me) The six other bards at the purple wedding.... For some reason, whenever I imagine Tom O'Seven's playing, I think of Allen O'Dell from the Disney's Robin Hood Cartoon. Yeah. the rooster. Go figure. This fact should be highlighted by bolding their names and resizing them so that they fill up the entire screen; glitter-animation is optional.
