Arya's Needle Work
I was wondering where the prophecy concerning Cersei and valanqar was first mentioned. I saw a forum talking about prophesies in detail, and I began to worry that I may have missed something. Is there an in depth discussion of the prophecy before Cersei mentions it when she is notified of her father's death and is fearful that Tyrian is the valanqar? Or is that the first mention? I'm so worried I have missed something.
The Missing Link
She mentions it in passing throughout the book after he fathers death. She goes into depth about it later on.
Fleur de Lys
<SPOILER UNLESS FINiSHED AFoC>I kept thinking that Cersei was worried about the wrong Queen in the prophesy, and thought she'd think she got away with something, which she still might in ADoD. I still think the prophesy can easily be about Daenarys, so she's likely done eventually no matter what. Tired of cringing every time Tyrion or Jaime say "sweet sister" even if the tone is sarcastic. That what's makes Martin such an awesome writer--that cringe factor, so I fully expect to have to deal with her further. Otherwise, good riddance and hoping for the hubris!
