ezinne43
I disagree , I think the named chapters give new life to the characters such as Cersei.Particularly how her mind works .
Three sisters
AFFC is providing interesting background information. And I enjoy the POV's of Arya and Cersei especially. The Ironborn cannot fully grasp my attention all the time. Clearly I can understand the disappointment of some readers when waiting such a long period and discovering they had to wait for ADWD to see the progress of a lot of main characters and events in the story. However, AFFC lowers the pace, points out the consequences of bloody war, expands the world, like Dorne for example, and puts events into perspective. Therefore I think that AFFC can be tedious at (ironborn)moments, but is essential for those readers who like to enjoy the story fully. For me AFFC is an enjoyable aftermath after reading the action packed ASOS, which remains my favorite.Cheers to all asoiaf-members and board, since this is my first post.
