This character literally materialises out of nowhere and has a massive impact on the plot; essentially taking over the role of one of the main characters. I don't know if this will work in the TV series. It would feel a little too much given how important the reveal is and that they have yet to even mention emphasise the babys head being dashed against a wall. I doubt most show watchers even remember Catlyn discussing this or who Rhaegar was for that matter. So to suddenly say "hes alive and the rightful king" just seems very jarring.So do you think we can expect some foreshadowing with Varys or Illyrio to ellude to this revelation.
