Your Stance on Theories

So almost everyone believe that aegon is fake.

You know, I didn't at first, but a couple things swayed me over time:

1) The constant references through Feast/Dance (which, remember, are "really" just one large book) to people who look Targ-ish - Aurane Waters, Darkstar, Li'l Illyrio, etc. It's a meta-warning that looking the part does not make you a Targaryen.

2) The actual War of the Roses featured multiple royal pretenders. ASoIaF is definitively not a 1:1 analogue, but you've got to think that for something to be GRRM's key inspiration for much of the story, you've got to think he likes the major parts of it.

3) We know it happens in the world of the story because hey, check out fArya.

So I'm not 100% certain either way, but I'm definitely leaning fAegon if you pushed me. But mainly, my question is - does it matter? "Aegon" clearly thinks he's Aegon. So does JonCon. At some point, if Aegon looks and acts the part well, and everyone believes it's true, then who's to say it isn't? There's no DNA test.
