Prays2Trees Posted August 13, 2013 Share Posted August 13, 2013 Random, and probably unimportant, but...The weirwood at the Whispers is described from Brienne's POV as "slender" and "young."Why the hell would a long-abandoned castle, as old as that, (and correct me if I'm wrong, but one belonging to unconverted First Men) have a young, slender weirwood? Knights of Ni Posted August 13, 2013 Share Posted August 13, 2013 I always thought there was a connection between the description of the whispers( Severed Heads Whispering) and the room underneath the Temple of Black and White where Arya becomes faceless for the fist time.
