jamesmalone Posted August 13, 2013 Share Posted August 13, 2013 Hi all,First time starting a thread so sorry in advance if this idea has been done to death.As far as I can see it, Coldhand's identity is a debate that GRRM didn't mean to have fans fixate on. In any of the chapters relating to Coldhands, there is no mention of a life he had. And considering that he first showed up while accompanied by talking ravens in ASOS (which i think is a given that is Bloodraven), can it not be extended as well to say that the entity known as Coldhands is just a nights watch brother, warged by Brynden Rivers? All speech and actions done by the character are really the actions that Bloodraven performed. Anyway, thats my two cents, feel free to tear it to shreds!
