Robert's demise

So what if Robert didn't die? It was impossible for the Lannisters to be certain that he will die hunting. Did they take their chances? That sounds careless and unconvincing.That's not how they do things. Joffrey and his mother would be dead and Ned would be alive and everything would be okay. Of course they would have to deal with Daenerys and Tywin but it all works out fine. The show would be drastically different. The show makers should have made Robert's death more convincing because it's a key point.
