I know Martin can be very vocal about his preference for Tyrion but things don't usually work out for him. I don't think Tyrion will have a happy ending and I hope he doesn't. But until that's done, they are married. My evidence is that everyone in Westeros, including Sansa herself, consider them married. Which is yours? I have checked the books and I was wrong - it is indeed as you say, and I apologize! I still consider her a Stark, and nor a Lannister, but she is indeed legally married to Tyrion, so in the eyes of the kingdom(s) she can be seen as a Lannister.
