Lord Varys Posted March 1, 2015 Share Posted March 1, 2015 I assume that Aegon became a sort of official envoy to Braavos for quite some time, however there would have been visits back home to KL (and, possibly, the Riverlands) in-between. I don't think there was anything between Daena and Aegon before their one night stand either, but I do think it is awfully convenient that Daena would just happen across Aegon during her attempted escape. That would mean that Daena was either really horny that day and had nothing else to do - Aegon would jumped on the chance, of course. But considering that they were apparently not caught, one could assume that this whole thing was carefully planned rather than a chance encounter. Surely Daena's disappearance would be noticed soon. Barbra was apparently at court for quite some time. And as non-inmate of the Maidenvault she could have been able to get messages in and out, as well as leave the place herself.
