Especially if it ended over such a minor offense. She may have just been searching for a "reason" to get out of it. You said it yourself that contacting her may upset her, so my advice would be don't. Just move on and accept it. If she contacts you, make a decision then depending on where you are. If you're willing to get back with her then by all means, if you have better prospects then don't. Either way don't hold yourself down over an unsure thing.
