Khal Shaggydog
I appreciate the bump in this thread, always great to go back through the sick glory of the Manderlys revenge, and I can't hear this one enough: Would you like Freys with that? But great comment on the idea of Jaimes quote, although I am a little skeptical on Jaime meaning it as you see it. For the record, I totally agree with your reading, and the actual comparison - White Harbor is way stronger and strategically important than most of the rest of the realm realizes, just as Tyrion is. And although Jaime does love his brother, I don't really know that he respects his cunning and skill that much. Could be possible, but I think Jaime is making a straight up size comparison. And I doubt Jaimes ever even been there, so he really wouldn't know the size of WH's inner harbor, or anything really about the Manderlys.
LindaJ1485
Manderly's words might be: The North remembers Guest right rules Loyal to the last crust! ;-)
