Tquinn BC
Totally correct me if I'm wrong and I'm sure it has been discussed elsewhere. But I thought eventually dunk and egg go to winterfell. Dunk has a fling, he passes the super tall gene on, with his lover of course... NanMaybe this is crackpot and the times are off somehow...So dumb me didn't see that everyone else was already talking about this, sorry, it getting late

Stannis Lives
I doubt Hodor has any Targaryen blood, but I'm willing to bet significant coin that he is descended from Ser Duncan the Tall, of the Dunk & Egg tales. Ser Duncan was 1 inch short of 7 feet, as measured by Aemon Targaryen. At the end of the 3rd story, "The Mystery Knight", Dunk and Egg are planning to travel to Winterfell next. In the 4th novella, I think we will find that Dunk and a She-Wolf of Stark blood develop a very close relationship, 90 years in the past. This was always my belief on why the she wolves of winter fell was postponed. It would have given away the Duncan the tall lineage before the show created the rumor with a wider audience.
Q the Cat
One thing for sure, Hodor's mother had good hips for birthing, because he must have been one extra large baby!
