Another week is in the book, and a lot of players did well this week. Pesci wins the week with 79 points. I claimed second with 76 points, and I'm 25-3 over the last two weeks with nothing to show for it. Rounding out the top three was KSP with 75 points. I normally do my Thursday afternoon. However, I don't always look in the CPs for each game, and I started vomiting just as I left work, so I only selected the most obvious ones and the TNG.

I’m happy with the trade, though it obviously sucks to lose Brown. However, I did need another RB with Powell going down and Landry will always get targets, though maybe not yards, and that contract is attractive. Going into next year I’ll have two QB1s and they only cost me $19, 5 RBs, none of which are 1s, but two 2s, two 3s and one that’s a mystery box for just $19 and two WR3/4s for $5, and I’ll have them both for the next three seasons. And since I have less than $10 in dead money, I’ll have 75% of my cap to play with. This is essentially the goal I’ve had for two years. Collect cheap contracts on decent to good players with the hope they become great and shed all the bad contracts I was dealt. I’d say now is about the time that I can land on an aircraft carrier with my junk highlighted.

Week 8 is in the books and two teams went 13-1. Rocksniffer won the day on points with 103. I think I would of had the same, but I was hungover and forgot to finish up my confidence points. I literally ran to the computer froze the options. Therefore, KSB gets second place with 101 points. Third place was a tie between dbunting and Ramsay. dbunting continues to inch ahead, and could be tough to catch if he continues to finish top three in most weeks. In other words, start failing you miserable punk! Mother------! I'm going to go 13-1 this week and finish in the bottom third in points. And the one game I lost would have been where I assigned a very low point total. This is what you get when you stay out late and want to sleep in.....

Goff would be interesting for the right price. My cheap young QBs are coming off of the books soon. Best I can offer is Brown on a one year deal.

Yeah that's what I meant. Both would be hilariously awful. I do think the best record should win the day because the points are random and removing them would avoid the aforementioned issue, but if people want to keep it there will be no changes. It's just something I'll keep in the back of my mind and we can vote on that and some other stuff if people want next summer.

I finished second both years I've played, and yes I had a double digit lead on you two years ago. I just didn't know how the confidence points worked the first few weeks so I just put them in the order of the games. Speaking of which, since I'm in charge now, is anyone interesting in switching it to picking against the spread next year? I don't gamble anymore, but I think it would be fun to see if we could make money off of this.

I appreciate all the condolences. I also forgot to turn on the one drop rule. It’s now in effect. As to your situation, I can’t change individual games. What I can do is disqualify them for everyone. Everyone had NE for 14 or 15 points, so I’m not opposed to it in theory because it does sound like an honest mistake. If you want we can put it to a vote, but what that would do is probably make week 5 some people’s drop week, so there is that to consider.
