A shy hello! I started out watching the HBO show, then I decided to stop watching the show until I finished the books, then I decided to stop watching the show altogether... Anyway. I am still working my way through ADWD, and after that I plan to do a reread. I come to these forums when I need answers or clarification, because unfortunately I have not found anyone else IRL who I can have these types of discussions with. That is why I decided to stop lurking and start joining. I think I am generally aware of the rules/norms from lurking, but if there is anything else I should be aware of please inform me. :) (I was happy to find an introduction thread... I always find it so awkward to just flail in blindly.)
