About Me

Hi, I'm new! I subscribed because this is a terrific place, with deep and funny discussions... and I feel the need to support the Blackfish.

I'm not a native English speaker, so forgive any silly thing I might say. (oh yeah, this is a good excuse). I hope to contribute at least a little, but I'm a lurker at heart, "a black fish in a black night", so be careful.

A dear friend convinced me to read AGOT last Autumn; I was intrigued by the idea of a TV series, and was curious about this saga everybody in my group of friends talked about. I was hooked from the first chapter - worse than hooked, it reformatted my brain.

In real life I'm a translator from English, but I'm looking for the chance to publish my own historical novels. If I jump at the mention of Robin Hobb, it's because I've translated the entire 9 books Fitz/Bingtown saga - with mixed results. :dunno:
