  1. How did Roose know that Theon had killed Ser Rodrik? Correct me if I'm wrong, but Luwin's raven says the following: "Ironmen have taken Winterfell. Theon Greyjoy in command." This was sent before Theon had killed Rodrik, when Luwin was desperately getting his raven off mid-takeover. Yet Roose knows that he's dead, despite (presumably) only reading the above. Sup?
  2. Nine. Favourite episode so far; Theon's takeover and fall from grace was brilliantly executed, and I love Ygritte already. The Hound's swathe of destruction was brutal and suitably epic, and Tyrion's showdown with Joffrey was particularly memorable. Can't deny that Harrenhal was rushed, though. Charles Dance continues to dazzle with his Tywin, but the segments there as a whole came off as pretty silly. That was a complete waste of the second death.
  3. Over-analyzing logistics seems a little moot for the TV series; it's just probably not going to be a factor at all. The Lannisters being weakened by their various brushes with destruction (losing the war in the north and being smashed again at the Blackwater before Tywin saves the day, primarily) while the Tyrells consolidate power will probably be enough to put them on par with one another by AFFC.
  4. Depends how much value you place on prophecies etc.. She shows up to give some very cryptic advice to Dany once or twice, including some rather key pieces of info... like the "Mummer's Dragon."
  5. 7/10. Thoroughly enjoyable; it didn't deliver one or two scenes I was (perhaps unrealistically) anticipating with glee, but still. A good episode.
  6. 6. Decent episode with some enrapturing moments, but a fair few weak points that really didn't deliver on my (perhaps unrealistic) book expectations. Even the more minor scenes, like the Stannis/Renly parley and Qarth felt a little weak. Still. I enjoyed it.
  7. It's a blink-and-you'll-miss-it shot in "The More You Love," here: http://i.imgur.com/7wbpH.jpg Not great quality, but you can make the figures out. I can't think of any other reason Joffrey would meet (and have cause to play rough with) Ros the prostitute.
  8. There's a strong chance that Tyrion's passing plot in CoK to "make Joffrey a man" is going to be realized. There's a scene in one of the trailers where Joff is brutalizing a scantily-clad Ros, so...
  9. 9/10. Best episode so far. Highlights: Theon's expanded brooding over whether to turn on Robb. Showing that he was this close to warning Robb of the Ironborn was a great scene, even if he thought twice. The ending sequence. Yoren is badass. Loras vs Brienne. Great scene. Natalie Dormer. "Carry him, he says..." Lowlights: Sansa's dinner with the Baratheons seemed rather pointless. I'd have made more of a point to show Tommen as the "nice one" there, instead of a rather blank slate.
  10. Apparently he sounds a lot better in episode two. Maybe Aidan had a cold or something...
  11. The Cersei/Littlefinger scene didn't seem too bad to me after getting to know "neutered TV!Cersei" a little better. I don't really blame Baelish for assuming this lioness was lacking fangs. Also, is it just me or is his voice a little... off? ETA: 7/10.
