  1. I've had a few days now to think about it and I think the Loras' sex scene will prove to have been necessary in order to move Cersei's power struggle with the Tyrells along. Margery told Loras he needed to be more discreet and that line alone should be a big clue that he will be caught or seen by Cersei or her spies. After all....Cersei DOES NOT want to marry Loras and blackmailing him or framing him about his sexuality will be used against in some form or fashion to advance her agenda. If Cersei escapes the walk of shame then I will be extremely upset. Hope that hasn't been deleted or given to someone else, That would be a MAJOR CHANGE and most unwelcomed by this fan!
  2. Regarding the Illyrio and Varys connection......I always assumed they had been communicating with each other the whole time since Season 1 when Ayra spied on Varys and Illyrio (or his messenger) beneath the castle. If a Targarygen on the throne had been their plan all along then why the need to send Jorah Mormont to spy and send assassins after her? This seems like slobby writing to me within the series separate from the book.
  3. WTF moment for me was the change of character of Mance? I thought he wanted the Wildlings across the Wall to save them from the Others? I'll admit that sometimes I can't keep straight what I read in the books versus what I have watched onscreen but I just reread ADWD last week and my memory must be worse than I realized....lol. Is Rattleshirt assuming Mance's role onscreen now and will he be the one to attempt a rescue on fAyra or Sansa? That's probably been scraped too. So much swirling around in my head abt where they are going on the show.
  4. Well said but it's all for naught. I'm 62 years old and there hasn't been a movie or TV series in my lifetime that have ever been better than the book. I guess that's why I love books over TV and movies. I have read the Outlander series too by Diana Gabaldon too and spent yesterday complaining about last night's episode and how it differed from the book. Again.....NOTHING IMO is ever as good as the book! Btw......can we safely assume now that Young Griff/Ageon is nothing more than a pretender or gets killed in the book? I'm assuming he isn't important enough to make it to series.
