I'm definitely speechless.....just a brilliant episode from beginning to end!

IMO, best episode of the season by far!

I rewatched it again....I have to say that Bronn/Tyrion/Varys scenes had great dialogue especially Bronn.

Stannis & Davos..they seemed calm before battle. I thought Stannis asking Davos to be the Hand was spot on.

Good point Firelord. Liked Yara this episode..she finally has some human quality to her. Too bad, Theon doesn't. Did Halfhand set Jon up with the wildings..he did make a comment, "Do what you have to do" or something like that. Also, Tyrion/Varys scenes. Brienne's reaction to Jaime - priceless. Didn't think that it would be that easy to walk out of Harrenhall but I liked how Arya set Jaqen up . And lastly, Bran and Rickon - good ending...Nobody would have thought. My guess is that some storylines are most likely finished as next week will be the big battle scene and Dany's visit to the HotU. I figure Jon & Arya in finale.

Ok..that might make sense too. I guess he just went there to report to Tywin to procure some type of advancement for himself (And he just had to mention Tyrion) before heading back to KL.

I thought Littlefinger was going to Highgarden..he hinted that the Lannisters needed the Tyrells.

Would Jaime be important as a "hostage" rather than being killed? I agree with Fakko about Cersei...it was nice to see her somewhat motherly towards Sansa for once. She showed some humanistice qualities for once. Perhaps because she won't be able to do that with her own daughter. Theon's face was priceless at the end...I don't suspect he saw that coming but he looked pretty horrified. This maybe his undoing at Winterfell.

I agree. Theon was very pompous.He didn't even think about the consequences of his actions or what consquence may lay ahead for himself. Dany, egocentric teenager. I'm glad the spice merchant put her in her place, she needed that. I wonder if Dany will realize her mistakes at Quarth faster than Theon.

Fav line from Tyrion to Joffrey: Tyrion: “We’ve had vicious kings and we’ve had idiot kings, but I don’t know if we’ve ever been cursed with a vicious idiot boy king.” …

Great opening sene with Theon but you could tell he was very conflicted taking Winterfell....he didn't show great leadership...looked pretty scared to me even killing Rodrick Cassel. I can't wait until he gets his when Bolton's son comes. Loved Jon's scenes with Yvgrite...some adventure and romance? The scenery was amazing..I can't believe the location..just breathtaking with the sunset on the ice. Sansa/Hound scene....beginning to like the Hound...could you see his disgust of Joffrey? Liked Shae telling her not to trust anyonein KL..finally someone told her. Joffrey got it twice, once in the face and once with Tyrion. Tywin/Arya...awesome scenes. Dany's scene were ok until the end when the dragons where gone. For me, Osha's last scene was the height of the episode. Go Bran and Rickon.

Balon seems cold and lacking in morals. Look at Yara..she seems cold as well. Look at her treatment of Theon in that episode. Arya constantly grows on me..she seems to find strength where she least expects it. She is very similar to Brienne in that way. I watch the episodes at least twice so I don't miss anything because the episodes go so fast.

I agree with you about Theon....I think Ned was a better father than Balon.

That was a fast shadow killer scene. I can't believe that Stannis agreed with Davos about not taking Melisandre to the next battle. I thought he never leaves without her. Tyrion is as good as always. Brienne, will she get revenge on Stannis....but her oath to Catelyn....don't know what Robb will think of her. Sounds like Jon is in for some adventrue finally. Love Sam Tarly. Theon..bascially a test for him. Arya...loved the scene with Tywin and Gendry. I think she is a believer now that the Tickler is dead. She still seems suspicious. Bran - definite foreshadowing about what is to come, perhaps? Actually lots of foreshadowing on what is come this whole episode. So I bet Littlefinger has the Margery Tyrell......and he is making a deal that she is coming to Kings Landing cuz she wants to be the Queen...Cersei, watch out! Dany...hmmm...does she stay or does she go....House of the Undying...intriguing..the masked woman who talks to Jorah warning him...a messenger.

Tyrion's scenes are the best however, I really liked Brienne and Cat's scenes. Arya too.

Who was the guy at Harrenhal asking about the brotherhood...I've watched it several times and they didn't mention his name...he is just an unknown or perhaps he'll be in the next episode?

me too! I can't imagine writing 5 or more pages of a scene, converting into 5-7 min of screen time that took 1-3 days to shoot depending on what kind of scene it is.

I can see why Tyrion came back to Kings Landing to give Cersei a hard time after being accused of trying to murdering Bran. It was actually kind of him though, to send Ned's bones to Cat...sort of an apology about what happened. I hope she learns the truth about what happened. I guess the Lannisters have Harrenhal (I haven't read book #2). I'm trying to figure out who was who there.

Wow, that blew my mind a bit...will have to rewatch it again. Joffrey is an idiot....wait till Littlefinger finds out. He is really off his rocker. Loved the Grey Wind scene...neat start to the show. Poor Sansa, she is really being humilated but loved Tyrion's entrance...did you see the horror on his face though. Stannis/Renly scene....nothing is going to be solved there. I loved Margery Tyrell's comeback at Littlefinger...good woman!!! I'm glad to see Cat tell Littlefinger off....he deserves it. I loved how he tried to tell Cat they could be together..like that would happen.....but then lies to her after. They only have Sansa not Arya. The Harrenhal...wow...how vicous was that guy...Arya is so lucky Tywin saved her and the other prisoners there too. Dany, finally got somewhere...but what's to say what will happen in the city. The ghost scene was freaky.....no words to describe it....Davos was sure freaky. The episode left me wanting more.....can't wait until next week...the build up is getting there.

Yes, Arya is really growing on me too...she is strong and brave for a girl her age.

I don't necessary hate Sansa....I feel empathic towards her actually...she had these wonderful dreams of Court life and had been brought up by Septa to be a Lady but with her father's death and horrible treatment by Joffrey and Cersei..it's just sad to see that no one in Kings Landing, no one has her back and therefore, is subject to ridicule. The only other person that has been fairly decent to her was Tyrion in which he told her that he was sorry for her father's death and then with backhanded comment said to Joffrey that he didn't do the same for his father (esp 201). Perhaps Shae maybe her only recourse during her stay at King's Landing. I do hope to see her get someback bone one day.
