  1. Holy sh*t. They have to spell out the most obvious things?? The list of valueless posts and nitpicking continues.
  2. I agree with the possibility of different endings for some characters. Just not the major characters or themes. The one thing I must say is that way too many people underestimate how smart these people are that are running and producing the show. The know what they're doing. It may be a quasi-chaotic process, but you have to give them some respect. Do we really know or even think these folks who are paid millions are 'just throwing things together' without any purpose or direction. This poor assumption is, in my eyes, is the biggest mistake folks make when criticizing the show.
  3. Sometimes I look at what they added as a possible future spoiler and/or sign of things to come since D&D know the ending and the directions the characters are heading.
  4. It's hilarious how these folks rate the show so very low and then watch it week after week. Plus, the actual TV critics don't seem to have the same complaints. http://www.rottentomatoes.com/tv/game-of-thrones/ Scroll down for complete reviews for each episode. The negative reactions are comical. Save the low, low ratings for bad amateur work, check 'your' biases, and remember hyperbole doesn't pass as real commentary and/or intelligent criticism.
  5. 10/10 Strangely, this is the first time I've given back-to-back 10's. I loved it despite not getting Stannis and the two (most despised) deaths (for myself). As usual, I'm basing my rating off of what it was and not what I wanted it to be. Sure, no Stannis, but there is plenty of time and they are sticking pretty close to the books and how things played out with this battle at the wall. So, really, why complain?? They don't ever really leave us with cliffhangers so It was a nice change of pace. Anyhow, phenomenal episode.
  6. The hyperbole exists on both sides. The 'con' faction are just too much. It's clear valid reasons was pointed out by myself and others in this convo as being welcome. Just not nonsense, so... Sorry for my shitty grammar.
  7. Look at it from both sides. It's not holier-than-thou, it's give me something better than shallow criticism.
  8. Spot on. Its a case of ignorance and immaturity (aka the inability to ask yourself tough questions). I don't mind folks bitching, it's just the lack of real constructive criticism.
  9. I loved it and need to know what these other book readers would do to improve things. I always ask myself this before I start to criticize. It's only fair and approaches the conversation from a constructive standpoint instead of just flat out complaining.
  10. Agreed. There is way too much hyperbole from the "critics" on here for me. Does a different medium and/or a respect for the adaptation process mean anything?? If you are a complainer regarding the poison than I'm pretty sure that little fact appears after the duel (as the Mountain lays dying in pain). They rolled credits just after Oberyn's death so it hasn't happened yet. :bang: Talk about jumping to conclusions.
