  1. I thought they tied up things nicely.
  2. Not really. Littlefinger is leaving NOW, and Sansa will still be there for a long time after he is gone. They will think it was for someone else.
  3. My husband loved that scene too and asked if it was from the books. He can now spot which scenes are almost direct quotes because "they are so intense" which says a lot about the quality of the rest of the writing. :( (We both still really like the show, we just know the GRRM scenes are the best)
  4. I posted in the wrong thread about about being wrong about Ricken leaving. Just watched it a second time and caught them telling him to not wonder off.
  5. ok, just watched the Ricken/wolf scene again, and I was likely wrong :)
  6. Parts of it were from the book (after Tyrion is told he's to marry Sansa, I think). Shea does say "You want her, this child?" I don't remember the rest of it though
  7. I hope that is true. It was "He'll be ok with the wolves" and then telling Summer to go on with him that made me think they had seperated.
  8. I said it in the "ratings" thread, but I'll say it here too. I really don't like Osha staying with Bran instead of going with Ricken. Poor baby was sent off on his own to be raised by wolves.
  9. I don't think it was out of character. She only prayed for him because she felt guilty about wishing him dead in the first place. I have a problem with her martyr complex. "it is all my fault for not loving the motherless child"
  10. It gives her a martyr complex. It was rather senseless as it didn't add to her character at all.
  11. Hated the Cat scene and that Osha is not going with Ricken. Poor baby being sent off to be raised by wolves. Other than that I loved it. :) 8
  12. My non-book reader husband loved it. can't wait for the next one and the characters they didn't show this time. He would have given it a 10 (but he says that about all the episodes).
  13. Did I misunderstand? Did it say only 2 more episodes left?
  14. I'd be willing to bet you are very wrong on this. I, and a lot of my FB friends, first read GoT in 1996 and most of us loved this episode too. (most of them are posting on this board too, and have been for many many years)
  15. I put my husband's ratings in (he hasn't read the books). No doubt about it, it is "the best show on television" accordingto him (and I agree). Some people rate it AGAINST the books, some people rate it against TV shows. I didn't like the scenes with Ayra. It's not the acting, it was the 2nd death was too hurried and rushed and just didn't seem to fit.
  16. If I rated a show a 1 on a regular basis I certainly wouldn't keep watching it. To continue just to give the 1 rating is exactly the definition of troll.
  17. While there were a few changes, they hit every thing they needed to in this episode. All the story lines are fully intact and the acting is amazing! I watch with my husband a non-book reader who has become a huge fan. He rates this a 10. (I think he feels this way about nearly all the episodes)
  18. That's ok, the scene wasn't in the book :) eta: Westerling, but her family is/was Spicr, sorry about that
  19. I told my husband "and that my dear, is a Shadowbaby" he laughed, but I think he was grossed out. I got shivers too. :)
