  1. 10/10 Finally we are getting meaningful content from beyond the books.
  2. 6/10 I rarely rate episodes this low, but I'm disappointed in the writing. It seems they don't remember anything. Just a couple of examples: the R`hollor ritual should be a last kiss. A kind of burial rite. That thing in the show looked like nothing but a resurrection ritual and they even forgot the actual kiss. And what is the salt throne? Isn't it called the Seastone Chair? Also I think being that trusting was out of character for Roose.
  3. 8/10 Solid first episode that sets up enough stuff to make me think it is going to be another great season.
  4. No no no, you misunderstand then. I was talking about the people who consistently come on here for seeming no other reason than to troll, but for some unexplicable reason seem to be in the majority for this specific episode.
  5. How so? I liked the episode. Are you saying there is some sort of objective reason I cannot?
  6. Well if the shoe fits. Will you wear it? I can`t really see how having been long at trolling makes it any better if that is what you are implying. I was saying this forum seems to have a disproportionate amount of negativity with what is currently the best loved show ever. I love the books, and this show. Many, many people all over the world love this show, so it puzzles me that this site, that I would imagine was a fansite is so full of vitriol.
  7. 10/10 Another fantastic episode. I must say I was shocked to see the unusually low votes. I know this site tends to have a vitriolic attitute towards things that stray from the books, but that is a given now so far into the show. I must review more of this thread to find out what could possibly cause som many people to rate this episode low, even a 1.... I mean this is the best TV show ever imo. Based on my favourite book series. I am starting to believe this site is inhabited mostly by trolls.
  8. 10/10 I love the books, and I also absolutely love the TV show. I think the show is getting more and more interesting with time. All the changes from the books are fine with me, and I'm excited about the show completely overtaking the books. Then it will all be new to me. The show don't take anything away from the books imo. They are still great and when the final books are released they will be the definitive Fire and Ice story.
  9. 9/10 Because: I loved the Varys and Tyrion stuff. Littlefinger's scheemes seems to be going as planned, and Sansa is right alongside him. Both John Snow and Stannis are taking initiative. Also I like Mellisandre doing her wicked things, or could they be good things.... I don't care so much about Daneerys at this point, but that story might pick up again at some point in Winds of Winter or the show. Whatever comes first. What I'm most excited to see going forward is the exploits of Arya and the Dorne Stuff. I can't wait for the rest of the season. Also I expect more shocking Deaths than Mance Rayder.
  10. Solid 10. Loved every second of it. No Lady Stoneheart? I have read the books, and am really perplexed as to what people are getting their panties in a bunch over. This is referring to undead Cat or whatever you want to call her right? What is the problem with waiting till next season with introducing this (reanimated) character?
  11. 9 Great episode as usual, I have no complaints about any of it. I really don't mind changes from the books, because the books are their own thing same as the series.
  12. 8. Good episode. I especially liked Littlefinger, but I always do :-)
  13. 10/10 I can't think of anything I didn't like in this episode. Someone said too bad it's all downhill from here for Dany. I agree to an extent. I think at least in the books she has a few more good moments before she gets bogged down with a war she don't need and can't win. I only hope the end of A dance with dragons is not the end for her as well.
