I thought i had noticed some serious deviation between the opinion of the posters and the people who voted on the poll. Turns out i was wrong... For the mathematically minded: There is a bias of around half a point, but seeing how the standard deviation is over 1, the bias is quite small. Though i have to say that many of the 7s in the posters data are actually 6s with +1 due to Ross' death :frown5: (correcting this would have had almost no effect on the gaussian, though, the mean would from 7.21 to 7.16 and the standard deviation from 1.13 to 1.23). OT: For me this was the best episode of the season. 9 out of 10. Ross fan here, i definitely felt bad for her. But it was a powerful image to remind me that Joffrey isn't tamed at all, as the later episodes might have lulled us into believing. Olena finds a worthy adversary. LF being LF. Jon Snow being Jon Snow. And what was for me the best scene, Arya and Mel. Now that's foreshadowing. I like the dynamic they are building between the Blackfish and the little fish (can't help it, that's how he will be in my mind forever, after seeing him in the show... he didn't look like such a goof in the novels).

I read people saying in this forum that it's because it's stated that all 6 trebuchets had fired, and there were only 3 remaining hostages. If i understand it right, at first greyscale is not apparent, and to know if you have it or not, you need to poke your fingers to see if you have sensitivity in them or not. During this phase, they have to trust his word that he has sensitivity. After it begins showing, i assume that people of the nobility, more often than not, wear gloves. Even for the ocasions when he would be glove-less, noone would have a particular reason to examine his fingertips, after he was discarded of having greyscale (on his word).
