Well, I finally gave in and made the step up from lurker to member! I thought no, it's best not to make an account, you'll only end up wasting time on there when you should be working, just lurk and have a look at a few topics that interest you... Didn't work! I'm Sarah, I'm 19 and at uni. I came to the books after seeing a couple of episodes of the first season of Game of Thrones when my Mum was watching them, and literally devoured them. It's been a while since I read them, and since lurking here I really wish I had my copies here at uni with me, but I was rewatching the second season of GoT recently and it got me back into my asoiaf. I must say I'm glad I've read all the books, even though I don't remember all the details too well, because all the spoilers on here would be too difficult to resist! :)
