Yes E8 was actually among the best of the entire show imo. The lack of Bran and Hodor was explained long before the first episode aired and is due to that story line basically catching up to the books already in S4 (I have heard, have not read Feast or Dance).

Yeah, cutting in the Brienne/Stannis scene is so cheap. It makes no sense and was a terrible desicion, I really have lost confidence in Benioff/Weiss. Even for me who have only read the books after seing each season it was blatantly obvious what scenes were added by them and were not at all from the source material. Just due to the quality of the dialogue and if anything did not make logical sense you could always be sure that it must be them making that up. Leaving the hound hanging is a different story though given how the books are written. Arya is the pow in that scene and she leaves so as do the viewers. Same goes for Syrio Forel for example. Sansa and reek would also be fine IF they in fact did die, then I would like it alot although we have seen little signs of narrative consistency before. Otherwise thats just cheap aswell.

The revenge of the show viewers (on book readers for unconscionably and knowingly spoiling major events everywhere) will be even more sweet than Oberyn's would have been/for a while was on the Mountain. Omg I have been looking forward to this moment.

Yes of course I just meant that she is of little value to the Lannisters (for what they know the Stark lineage is wiped out), I still assume she would get protection at house Umber at least and probably also most other smaller houses as I assume what Frey and Boltons did here wont be forgotten easily by the northern houses. Given I havent read the book I lack the indepth knowledge about the finer details here. Can some bookreader shed the light on the following question, I cant see it being a spoiler, Ive read somewhere that Bran's storyline for book 3 now is concluded. Is that true? And if so I assume season 4 will be some sort of mix between end of book 3 and beginning of book 4? Also some speculation, if the White walkers are magically blocked out of Westeros by the wall. How the hell are they a threat? Maybe I underestimate them here but it also seems that there is a huge descrepancy in power between the threat from beyond the narrow sea (dany) and the threat from beyond the wall (the white walkers). Overall I kinda feel the dragons are overpowered but on the other hand they were killed once so they can be killed again.

It would make no sense to sell Arya to the Lannisters, for what they know all Stark men are dead and hence the house Stark is erradicated so I don't see what value Arya would have to them other than the sadistic Joffrey enjoying killing her. The Starks still has loyal friends in the north though and it might be there they are heading next but as I already mentioned I get the feeling Arya wanna go to braavos or at least once again come in contact with the faceless men. Her last scene in this episode is a strong indication to that.

Yeah, I figure this has to evolve soon, the war is over although the danger from the other side of the narrow sea (Dany) is coming closer albeit no one knows that or believes that. Stannis storyline seems to have gotten nowhere during this season, I assume he's going to be more active soon. I hope youre right and bran's story is probably not meaningless so hopefully there will be some vengance though I fear it wont be from the Starks. About Arya I assume she now again will be in contact with the faceless men and eventually become one of them herself. That can only be awesome.
