  1. Oh - forgot to mention, Ygritte's death did not have the emotional punch it should have had. I have to say Kit was a bit off.
  2. It was a good episode overall, however, the ending was completely anticlimactic. Honestly, I don't understand why they couldn't have ended it with Stannis, that would have rounded up this episode nicely. I did give it an 8 because it did go by rather quickly and it was entertaining.
  3. I loved the restraint fury in her. At first she's all calm waiting to listen to him explain himself and as she realizes or accepts that his information put her child in danger you can see the dragon waking. She keeps it together but is to disgusted with him to even look at him. I thought it was well done and well acted.
  4. :stunned: I think we watched to different episodes. I think what she was displaying was restraint fury, which is completely understandable given the circumstances. She's a queen now and she can't afford to act unrestrained (yelling and cursing) she kept her composure as best she could but it was still an incredibly devastating moment for her. The only friend she's ever really know betrayed her in the worst possible way, it's a miracle she was able to keep her composure.
  5. That's a good interpretation for the beetle scene. While I was watching it I kept on thinking it was a metaphor for power and control or the lack there of. O (the cousin, I can't remember his name) only had power over those beetles, so he destroyed because he could and because it was probably one of the few things he had control over (even if he couldn't intellectualize it).
  6. I can't believe there are only two episodes left, this season has just flown by. Yes, pretty soon Jorah will be meeting up with Tyrion, can't wait for that.
  7. Ha! I know, that's the good thing about having read the books you know when to look away.
  8. I gave it an 8, I though it was a pretty solid episode. Agree completely. Meereen is not the most exciting of plots and this is a good way to give it some more meat. It's also an interesting way to explored the idea of non-sexual love.
  9. That was very well done on Emilia's part. Her best friend, probably the only friend she's ever truly had just betrayed her in the worst possible way.
  10. True, but just hearing it was enough for me. There is going to be some serious killing next week. M
  11. Hu! What are you referring to? There was absolutely not crazy evil there.
  12. How did you guys like the Jorah exile scene? I thought it was pretty goo overall, Emilia did well, and Ian was excellent.
  13. It was a suggestion, I'm not really complaining. Overall, I was very pleased with the fight.
  14. I don't like gore. I wish they'd be more subtle, sometimes it works best to leave it up to the imagination.
  15. Solid episode, the duel was great although I had to look away. I wonder why they decided to change the Sansa bit.
  16. How much wood could a woodchuck church, if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

  17. Oh you sweet summer child.... :D I don't want it to be either and if it does happen (even if it's supposedly to save Jon) I will be very upset. Her life should be as valuable as anyone else's.
  18. Oh I don't think it would happen mow, but having Mel say there is a purpose in her going with them to the Wall does give me at least some concern. Mel's purposes aren't always good.
  19. That's the first thing I thought. A pit just set in my stomach, what are they going to do to that poor little girl.
  20. I just noted that the goat herder came in right before Hizface, so Hizzy knows what happened. I liked the ambiguity in the books even though there was a good chance Drogon ate the kid.
  21. Oh no, the second he ask for pen and paper I knew he had something up his sleeve. ;)
