I can't do a screencap, but watching in slow-motion the QoT clearly plucks a stone (on Sansa's far left), palms it, and deposits it in the cup directly in front of Margaery as she returns to her seat (QoT has some mad slight-of-hand skills).- 1,452 replies

I'd assume it was Jón Þór Birgisson. I doubt Jack's voice is that good, but I know his enunciation is better. That sounded like someone who doesn't speak English (or is it the Common Tongue?) singing phonetically.- 1,452 replies

They did have the QoT unnecessarily in the frame right before Tyrion served him, and she was the first non-family member to react. Subtle clues, but not nothing.- 1,452 replies

Goodbye, my friend. There's no need to cry. We'll never see him again, will we? Sure we will! We can just follow his footprints. Footprints.- 1,452 replies

Definitely! I remember being very confused when I found that out. Hamish: Some men are longer than others. Campbell: Your mother been telling ya stories about me again, eh? Harry Lloyd had a funny quip about that on his only commentary track (from Season 1, obviously). Daniel Minahan commented on how comfortable Alfie looked wielding a bow, and he said something like "of course he does, he's been watching Robin Hood." I'm sure this has been mentioned, but I only recently learned that Hallyne (the pyromancer who supplies Tyrion's wildfire in Season 2) is played by Roy Dotrice, narrator of the ASOIAF audiobooks. Also common knowledge around here I'm sure that Ser Ilyn Payne is a bad ass on guitar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wMlhWvIh7U4 (still going strong in the face of terminal cancer) Michelle Fairley was supposed to narrate GRRM's Windhaven but I can only find it done by Harriet Walter.

Not to jump all over you, but Oberyn's introduction lasted for 7+ minutes and only about 50 seconds of it was spent on his bisexuality. Is that really the only think you took away from it? This is a pretty great read. It looks like you've done some recaps from earlier seasons as well - I'll look forward to going back and checking those out when I've got the time.

I have no idea, but I'd guess 20-30 minutes. If they bent their elbows a strong person could do it all day long, but straight out like that after 10 minutes a 4 pound blade is going to feel like 400.

Obviously you have the right to your opinion, but it seems like you missed the point of a lot of the scenes about which you're complaining (which may help explain why you didn't enjoy them).

Agree 100% about Emilia. She was so good in Season 1 that I am honestly dumbfounded as to how God awful has become in absolutely every scene she's in. They may as well give her those purple lenses now since she's not conveying any emotion anyway... I'd mentioned on a different thread that I think the discussion about Renly's death was put in to highlight Margaery's fickleness in contrast to Brienne's steadfast loyalty.
