Sword of the Morgan Posted February 9, 2014 Share Posted February 9, 2014 While there are many things that appeal to me about this book series, one thing that I really enjoy is the mystery surrounding many aspects of the past and present. For example, where has Euron really been these last years? What happened at the Tower of Joy? Is Loras really wounded? etc. etc. etc. There are many. My question is, what is your favorite past event or current circumstance that is shrouded in mystery and what is your theory of what is really went/is going on? I enjoy various mystries and speculationing about them :) 1) Who are the Others? What's their goal? Are they truly 100% evil?2) What was the Doom of Valyria? Who or what caused it? HMR Posted February 10, 2014 Share Posted February 10, 2014 My two main interests are the tragedy at Summerhall, which I hope will be resolved either in the main story or in the final Dunk and Egg novella, and the Night's King, which I fear will never be resolved :( One can only hope...
