But at the beginning neither he, Tywin or other Lannisters seemed to believe (or chose to ignore) that her children were born out of incest. Although Tywin probably suspected but purposely ignored it, I agree.If Tywin suspected it he probably would have accepted it as fact when the war of the 5 kings started, seeing as half the realm was quite openly saying Joffrey was inbred. There simply was no one in House Lannister with a high enough status for Joffrey. He's the king and only females of other great houses would have been a match for him.
