Russellstiltskin Posted May 3, 2014 Share Posted May 3, 2014 So this may be an old idea (it probably is, I've had precious few that haven't already been addressed, usually in more detail) but if the Crannogmen (or the Reeds) could be a result of inter-marrying between the First Men and TCotF (I don't know how accepted this is, but from the isolation of Greywater Watch, the magics of the Crannogmen, their greenseeing and their diminutive stature it would seem a very real possibility, though I'm not sure if this is brought up in the books or not) perhaps Coldhands is a reanimated offspring of a Child and a human who was in the Night's Watch and was slain and reanimated long ago.
