spiers999 Posted May 12, 2015 Share Posted May 12, 2015 Having just finished a reread of Feast while watching Season 5 it has occured to me that Littlefingers Brothel Keeper Olyvar may take the place of Osney Kettleblack as Cersei's Catspaw and eventaul betrayer to the High Sparrow.Firstly with Margaery clearly consumating her Marriage to Tommen her Maidenhood is no longer an issue so the focus of Cersei's initial plotting with the High Sparrow seems to be focused on Loras and ended with his arrest.The relationship between Olyvar and Loras does not appear to be out in the open as even Margaery seemed surprised to find them in bed together.Maybe Cersei will go to Olyvar knowing his postion in littlefingers brothel in attempt to find evidence against Loras and discover thier relationship. Then either she threatens him into going to the High Sparrow to confess or seeing his ambition she makes him promises as she promised Osney the Wall and her afterwards.The impending return of Littlefinger adds another layer he may use Olyvar to bring down Cersei but who really knows what Littlefinger will do.The problem with this idea is what information Olyvar would actually have to tell the High Septon that could lead to her imprisonment as Osney's confession of carnal knowledge of the queen did, but maybe the lying and plotting and widely acknowledged incest will be enough.Of course the return of Lancel and his knowledge of Cersei may be enough but i think we have seen too much of Olyvar with sparrows for him not to have a part to play!
