She's not there with permission of the Boltons.I've worked it out. Mel didn't see herself on the battlements of Winterfell. She saw a red haired woman in a hooded cloak, she saw Sansa. The escape is definitely on. That could just as easily be one of the battlements. They'd have plenty of bows up there ready for the archers in a siege. The one where she looks kinda shocked? The light makes it seem as if it's outside at least... she could be looking down on Stannis army approaching Winterfell, maybe? Even if it's between her or ruling the North?
