Manhole Eunuchsbane Posted November 19, 2015 Share Posted November 19, 2015 The idea that GamerGate is somehow forever frozen in time at the moment that a couple of jackasses in some internet chatroom that most people have never even heard of and have no experience with decided to try to slut shame Zoe Quinn (before the #GamerGate hashtag was even coined) is just a fundamental misunderstanding of how the "movement" operates. I understand the point you are trying to make, but when the origin of the whole legitimate side of the "movement" is a literal smokescreen excuse for slut shaming your buddies ex-girlfriend, it's kind of hard to take it seriously.
