Sorry, I didn't mean to... steal your thunder *pun intended, cue laugh track* (Hopefully this was aimed at me, because otherwise that doesn't work and I look very, very egotistical) I got pretty excited by the ice-lightning thing too. I'm less good with interpreting what it actually means for the main series, but I think it adds a nice twist to the Grey King vs the Storm God's thunderbolt story and thus the burning tree (i.e. weirwood?) motif.
