johnnysd Posted June 24, 2011 Share Posted June 24, 2011 My guess is that they end with Dany again, specifically the attack on the slave merchants at Astapor. Dany has no real arc in book 2 at all. White Walkers is quite a distinctive name (now if they would keep with the Others for the show, that would've been a problem), they are probably the main fantasy element of the show and shown in the first episode, and it is clear that the Mormont leads out the Watch to investigate some supernatural phenomena.
