The Maester said the boat that she was on would be sufficient to take him to Dany. Plus, it'd be nice to see Gilly not crying all the time or fearing for her life. Her and Sam have the potential to be really cute together. addie Posted February 1, 2012 Share Posted February 1, 2012 Yes they do, but I think Sam is too honest and attached to his vows to just set up Gilly somewhere in Oldtown and continue their relationship. It was born as conclusion of all the hard time they lived together beyond the walls and at sea, but this relationship has no future. But good on pointing that it is clearly stated that Gilly was to stay on the boat and that the maester intends to leave quickly on the same boat.
