1234567 Posted August 13, 2012 Share Posted August 13, 2012 If it were only a plot device to keep Sansa virginal and away from the marriage market - why choose a key character like Tyrion for this? Why invest so much wonderful writing into that embarassing, for the characters and us readers, bedroom scene?GRRM needed a way to get Tyrion out of KL and Sansa to the Vale, but insure that she couldn't be married off immediately as her Aunt had planned.
