That river in the middle of Essos...

it starts in the north shore of the continent, east of the forest of Qohor, and flows south by east, ending in two lakes in the center of the Dothraki Sea. There's a third, larger lake northwest of them.

yes, that one. that one right there.

does anyone know what the hell it is? does it have a name? i just want to know i guess. it seems to me that river of that size would hold at least some significance, or at least warrant a mention.

If that river and its lakes pretty much vanish in a long summer, then that's why we wouldn't know about them.Also the Dothraki Sea is not exactly a well charted area!

We should learn more about it in the Lands of Ice and Fire map book, out in less than two months :)
