The King of the Red North
In Dance of Dragons Aegon appeared claiming to be the son of Rhaegar and Elia. He is named after Aegon the Dragonlord he had two sisters Rhaenys and Viseryna. Rhaegar had a daughter name Rhaenys. Daenarys notice that he named his children after the founders of house Targaryen. I believe that Lyanna Stark did fall in love with him and ran off. She carried his third child many believe this Jon Snow but this is a trick. The child was a girl. Now you all thinking why would it be a girl because it is how the targaryens rode the dragons one guy two girls. This child may have silver hair or stark hair but has purple eyes. Jon can't be they child because he would have purple eyes. I can prove this because Bittersteel and Bloodraven this men's mothers came from Houses Bracken and Blackwood. Both houses are descended from the First Men and keep to the Old Gods of the North. They had purple eyes well Bittersteel because Bloodraven was albino but he probably would. Cat of the Canal Girl
When Ned came back to Winterfell, he quickly switched R+L's baby with Vayon Poole's before anyone notice he had brought up a girl. This would make an even BETTER hiding place for her.

Daenarys notice that he named his children after the founders of house Targaryen.I believe this passage was written to hint that Rhaegar expected his child with Lyanna to be a girl, and the third head. In reality, the child turned out to be a boy, and quite possibly the PWWP.Jon can't be they child because he would have purple eyes.Sorry, but this is false. The current Baratheon generation is descended from Targs, and they generally have blue eyes. Not to mention that the whole notion is illogical: if children of Targaryens always have purple eyes, then the whole world would eventually be overrun with purple-eyed people. As for your theory as a whole, it's simply very unlikely. A lot of the evidence for R+L points specifically to Jon, including the vision of the blue flower growing from a wall of ice, Ned's statement that he's been living lies for fourteen years, his refusal to call Jon his son in his own mind, etc.
redviper9
Possible, yes; do you think this hypothetical daughter is a character we've already met in the books? As for Jon's physical appearance, I don't think that in itself disqualifies him from possibly being Rhaegar's and Lyanna's son. Yes, Jon is very much a Stark in looks (more so than Robb, Sansa, Bran, and Rickon), and yes, Aegon IV's great bastards did have some of your classic Targaryen features. But there are also examples of Targaryen looks yielding to others. The most notable one is Baelor Breakspear, who took after his Dornish mother. Bittersteel himself -- whom you cite -- only inherited the eyes. Since Rhaegar's and Lyanna's possible union would have been the first between Stark and Targaryen, there was no precedent to see which family's appearance would have won out; in other words, someone can't go leafing through Grand Maester Malleon's book to read about what Stark-Targaryen children historcally looked like in the same way Jon Arryn and Ned Stark did to find out what Baratheon-Lannister historically looked like. TheZone
Not necessarily it does not have to be exactly the same way it was before, that's why Dany renamed the dragons

The King of the Red North
Baratheons as we know of that are born between the stag and the dragons are unknown Orys Baratheon married the storm kings daughter we do not know what the storm king look like. Martin never tells us what Steffon Baratheon look like who is the grandson of Aegon the fifth he may had black hair and purple eyes then when he had Robert Stannis and Renly the purple eyes became reccessive and the blue eyes came in. Baelor Breakspear eyes were never told in the story

The King of the Red North
I believe that Ned's promise was that he was never to speak about the girl's parents and to give it to Wylla and raise her with the daynes so it would pass off as a bastard since daynes have purple eyes and dark hair this would protect the child and explain why Ned thinks about Jon because he gave up his sisters child a bastard for his bastard at starfall
