Abel Posted May 31, 2013 Share Posted May 31, 2013 we got one confirmation. on the tower of the hand is a Martin summary about a gift chapter from WoW.it statet the already known history of Aegon´s Conquest, the interesting fact ist, that although Torrhen knelt, the North - in opposite to all the other conquered kingdoms - kept their swords, after Brandon and the Maesters dealt with Aegon before the battle. so they got some pressure on the man with the dragons which convinced him to let the North be armed by themselves....why the hell there were 3 Maesters?
