Are we talking 1-2 years of development, or do you think George RR Martin might try to stretch it out to 3-5 years?For me if he stretches the timescale out, then it brings in a lot of potential for characters who are currently very young (e.g. Rickon, Mance's son) to develop more and possibly even have PoVs. The Mountain That Flies Posted December 24, 2012 Share Posted December 24, 2012 Each of the previous books has covered 6-9 months (with Feast and Dance overlapping quite heavily), so I assumed it would stick to a similar formula.
