Mr.Black
Gerion Lannister come out of the ruins of valyria with Brightroar and whoop some WW ass!? or maybe pass the sword down to another one of our favorite Lannisters? or think he is looooong dead? Others Take Them
It would be cool, but that's the kind of stuff that happens in a typical 'high fantasy', these books are about turning such notions on their heads. When a foolish adventurer seeks attempts to go searching for a lost sword on an island that is basically Mauna Loa on crack, he is never going to be heard from again. Lady Nastja
First off, welcome to the forums! :cheers:Hmm, its plausible. Although given what we know of ASoIaF, I don't really see it happening.
King of Winters
I think he's either the Corsair king or if Dany goes to the Ruins of Valyria on Drogon, with Tyrion, they'll find him there and he'll pass Brightroar on to Tyrion, or Tyrion will find it in the Ruins without Gerion giving it to him. Tim Stark
That would be sick, but unless this was Tolkien I doubt it would happen. But, really the only predictable thing about George is that he's unpredictable, so you never know
TheGriffonReborn
Unless Brightroar has some significance to the story I don't see the point of bringing Gerion back as anything other than the Corsair King....maybe Tyrion convinces him to become Dany's fleet. Strongest Of All Belwas
That would be sick, but unless this was Tolkien I doubt it would happen. But, really the only predictable thing about George is that he's unpredictable, so you never knowSo we can predict that he is unpredictable, but he knows we know, so he does what we don't expect, only we expected it, and so did he feel that we'd expect that he knows that we know that he's unpredictable, just as we predict. Corvo Attano
Gerion has only been mentioned a couple of times.. If he was going to show up, he would have been talked about a lot more (like Benjen)
Winterz
If he did return I'd certainly vote him in for House Lannister's leader!

TalalOfDorne
I dont know if I want to see him come back. If he does though it should have great significance to the story. Otherwise its a waste of pages.
Ser Areo Mace
Gerion Lannister come out of the ruins of valyria with Brightroar and whoop some WW ass!? or maybe pass the sword down to another one of our favorite Lannisters? or think he is looooong dead?Gerion Lannister will be the Fire Jedi to Benjen Stark's Ice Jedi, and they will save the world from the Great Other. It is known.
Winterz
Maybe Gerion arrives with Brightroar mounting a Valyrian dragon and roaring. Boy, that would be epic. Then Aegon kills Gerion, takes his dragon and then we can finally have the Dance of the Dragons with actual dragons in both sides.
diremitar
So we can predict that he is unpredictable, but he knows we know, so he does what we don't expect, only we expected it, and so did he feel that we'd expect that he knows that we know that he's unpredictable, just as we predict.mind blow
The Prince of Ice
Theres no point for Gerion to return with Brightroar because Tywin already "aquired" cough *stole* cough two more Valryian swords for House Lannister
Sir Noone Sword Of The Day
I think there is definetely the possibility of him coming back but than again its all really just speculation at the moment
